Itinerary:
- Day-1: Chandigarh to Narkanda (170 km)
Cab will pick you up from Chandigarh railway station and transfer to Narkanda. Check in to your hotel and take rest.
- Day-2: Narkanda to Reckong Peo (160 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Reckong Peo via Rampur. Check in to your hotel/homestay. Embark on a captivating journey through the scenic wonders of Reckong Peo. Witness the majestic presence of the Kinnaur Kailash peak, offering a breathtaking backdrop.
- Day-3: Reckong Peo to Tabo (170 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Tabo. You will see terrain change in just one hour. Barren area starts. Enroute visit Khab Sangam, where Sultej and Spiti rivers meet. Then visit Nako monastery and Nako lake. Take lunch at Nako. Cross dangerous Maling Nala zone. Check in to your hotel/homestay in Tabo. Tabo is famous for its 1000+ years old monastery. It is called Ajanta of Himalayas for its wall paintings. You may go to Tabo caves also.
- Day-4: Tabo to Kaza (50 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Kaza. Check in to your hotel/homestay in Kaza. Visit Kaza Monastery and market in the Evening.
- Day-5: Excursion to Chicham, Kibbar, Kee
After breakfast, be ready for extreme high altitude adventure of Spiti Valley. Visit Chicham Bridge (Asia’s hightest suspension bridge), Kibbar village and Kee Monastery. Back to your hotel/homestay in Kaza
- Day-6: Excursion to Langza, Komik, Hikkim
After breakfast, be ready for extreme high altitude adventure of Spiti Valley. Visit Langza (famous Buddha statue), Komic (world’s highest motorable village) and Hikkim (world’s highest post office). Back to your hotel/homestay in Kaza.
- Day-7: Kaza to Reckong Peo (220 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Reckong Peo via Tabo and Nako. Check in to your hotel/homestay in Reckong Peo.
- Day-8: Reckong Peo to Chandigarh drop (320 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Chandigarh via Narkanda and Shimla. Cab will drop you at Chandigarh bus stand or Chandigarh railway station.
