Itinerary:

  • Day-1: Chandigarh to Shimla/Narkanda (100 km/160 km)

Cab will pick you up from Chandigarh railway station at 8 AM and transfer to Shimla/Narkanda. Check in to your hotel and take rest.

  • Day-2: Narkanda to Chitkul (240 km/180 km)

Early in the morning, you may visit the Hatu Peak and Hateshwari Temple (by local taxi at your own cost). After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Chitkul via Rampur. Check in to your hotel/resort/camp in Chitkul.

  • Day-3: Chitkul to Kalpa (60 km)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Kalpa. Check in to your hotel. Embark on a captivating journey through the scenic wonders of Kalpa. Witness the majestic presence of the Kinnaur Kailash peak, offering a breathtaking backdrop. Explore the ancient Narayan-Nagini Temple, showcasing intricate architecture and religious significance. Indulge in the tranquility of Rola Cliff (Suicide Point), offering panoramic views of the lush valleys below. Immerse yourself in the beauty and spirituality of Kalpa’s sightseeing treasures.

  • Day-4: Kalpa to Tabo (170 km)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Tabo. You will see terrain change in just one hour. Barren area starts. Enroute visit Khab Sangam, where Sultej and Spiti rivers meet. Then visit Nako monastery and Nako lake. Take lunch at Nako. Cross dangerous Maling Nala zone. Visit Gue Monastery which is famous for Lama’s mummy (preserved dead body). Check in to your hotel/homestay in Tabo. Tabo is famous for its 1000+ years old monastery. It is called Ajanta of Himalayas for its wall paintings. You may go to Tabo caves also.

  • Day-5: Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar (65 km)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Kaza. Take link road for Dhankar monastery from Shichling village. It is also very old monastery with awsome views of Spiti valley. Check in to your hotel/homestay in Kaza. Visit Kaza Monastery and market in the Evening.

  • Day-6: Excursion to Extreme Villages

After breakfast, be ready for extreme high altitude adventure of Spiti Valley. Visit Langza (famous Buddha statue), Komic (world’s highest motorable village), Hikkim (world’s highest post office), Chicham Bridge (Asia’s hightest suspension bridge), Kibbar village and Kee Monastery. Back to your hotel/homestay in Kaza.

  • Day-7: Kaza to Chandratal (100 km)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Chandratal. Take some rest/lunch at Losar village. Off roading starts after Losar. Visit Kunzum Pass, highest point of the trip (4550 meter). Now you will leave Spiti river valley and enter Chandra river valley or Lahaul Valley. Park your vehicle near Chandratal. Chandratal lake is one kilometer from here. Easy trek. You will have to walk 1 kilometer to reach the lake. Night stay in camps.

  • Day-8: Chandratal to Manali Drop (110 km)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Manali via Atal Tunnel. Take rest/lunch at Batal and Chhatru. Here you will notice that terrain is changing. You will find good road at Gramphu. Visit Atal Tunnel. Cab will drop you at bus stand or your hotel. You may either take overnight bus for your hometown or stay at Manali.

♦ Advance for booking: Rs. 5,000/- per person (refundable as per cancellation policy).
♦ Rest amount to be paid before 45 days of travelling date.
♦ 100% Advance for flight ticket booking.

Cancellation Policy:
♦ 10% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 45 days before trip start day.
♦ 25% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 30-44 days before trip start day.
♦ 50% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 15-29 days before trip start day.
♦ No refund in case you cancel the trip 14 days before trip start day.
♦ Full refund if we cancel the trip.
♦ No refund for unused or partial used services.
