Itinerary

  • Pickup from Leh Airport by cab and transfer to hotel. Check in to your hotel and relax.
  • Spend the day in complete rest for acclimatization at high altitude.
  • Meals Included: Dinner
  • After breakfast, start for Sham Valley sightseeing.
  • Visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, a revered Sikh pilgrimage site.
  • Experience the wonder of Magnetic Hill.
  • Stop at Nimmu Sangam, where the Indus & Zanskar Rivers meet. You can do river rafting or bungee jumping (extra cost).
  • On the return journey to Leh, visit Spituk Monastery and the Hall of Fame (closed on Mondays).
  • Afternoon visits: Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.
  • Drop back to the hotel; evening free for Leh Market & shopping.

  • Learn about its history – under Pakistan’s control until 1971, now part of India.
  • Continue further to Thang Village, the last Indian village on the border with Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

  • Return to Nubra Valley by evening. Overnight stay in hotel/camp at Nubra.

  • Overnight stay in camps near Pangong Lake.

  • Stop at Rezang La War Memorial, dedicated to the 114 Indian soldiers who fought bravely in 1962 India-China war.
  • Continue to Hanle and spot wildlife like kiangs (wild asses), marmots, Himalayan foxes and migratory birds.
  • Arrive at Hanle, check into your homestay and take some rest.
  • Visit Hanle Monastery, an ancient gompa with panoramic valley views.
  • Visit the Indian Astronomical Observatory, one of the world’s highest observatories.
  • Return to the homestay for overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, start for Umling La and Demchok excursion tour.
  • Cross Photi La Pass (5,524 m / ~18,125 ft).
  • Visit Umling La Pass (5,798 m / 19,024 ft), currently the world’s highest motorable road.
  • Short breaks only, avoid exertion due to low oxygen levels. No shops or help available.
  • Continue to Demchok village, visible near the India-Tibet border. Access is allowed only up to the ITBP post/viewpoint, further entry is restricted. Photography of army areas is not allowed.
  • Return to Hanle via the same route for overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Leh.
  • Enroute visit Chumathang Hot Water Springs, natural sulphur hot springs.

It is a 9-day, 8-night group tour covering Leh, Sham Valley, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Pangong Lake, Hanle and Umlingla Pass.

Accommodation, breakfast & dinner, airport pickup/drop, cab, permits, oxygen cylinder, trip guidance and all taxes.

Travelers should be fit for high altitude. Not recommended for those with severe heart or lung problems. Oxygen support is provided at Nubra & Pangong.

Khardung La, Nubra Valley, Diskit Monastery, Hunder Sand Dunes, Turtuk, Pangong Lake, Sham Valley attractions, Changla Pass and Shanti Stupa.

Yes, Inner Line Permits are required for Nubra, Pangong, Turtuk and Hanle. These are included in the package.

Warm clothes (layers), thermals, gloves, sturdy shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, medicines and ID proofs.

Airtel, BSNL and Jio work in Leh and Nubra. In Pangong, network is very limited.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment Policy:

  • Booking Amount: Rs. 5,000/- per person
  • Rest amount: before 15 days of the trip

Cancellation Policy:

  • 10% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip more than 30 days before trip start day.
  • 25% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 22-29 days before trip start day.
  • 50% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 15-21 days before trip start day.
  • 75% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 8-14 days before trip start day.
  • No refund in case you cancel the trip 0-7 days before trip start day.
  • No refund for unused or partial used services.
  • Full refund if we cancel the trip. Please note that no additional compensation or payment will be provided.

Terms and Conditions

  • Only Postpaid SIMs (BSNL, Jio and Airtel) work in Ladakh.
  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited during the entire trip.
  • There should be no heart and lungs patient. If you have any of the heart and/or lungs related issue, please consult your doctor and also let us know.
  • Your BMI (Body Mass Index) should not be more than 32. If exceeds, please consult your doctor.
