Itinerary
Day-1: Kochi Pickup and Local Sightseeing
• Cab will pick you up from Kochi Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. • Check in to the hotel and take some rest. • Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi. • Visit the Jewish Synagogue (closes on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Jewish holidays). • Visit St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Santa Cruz Basilica. • Enjoy the best views of the Chinese Fishing Nets from Vasco da Gama Square. • Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-2: Kochi to Munnar via Athirapalli Waterfall (210 km)
• Start your journey from Kochi to Munnar. • En route visit Athirapalli Waterfall. • Walk down to the base of the waterfall and enjoy stunning panoramic views. • Then start for Munnar. • Visit Cheeyappara Waterfall and Valara Waterfall. • Visit a Spice Garden and take a guided walk through plantations of cardamom, pepper, cinnamon and other spices. • In the evening, you may opt for an adventurous Jeep Safari at an additional cost. • After reaching Munnar, check in to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day-3: Munnar Local Sightseeing
• After breakfast, start for Munnar sightseeing tour. • Visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and offers beautiful views of rolling hills. • Later, visit Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Dam. • Enjoy scenic views and optional pedal boat or rowboat rides. • In the evening, take a leisurely walk through local market for spices, tea, chocolates and handmade souvenirs. • Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Munnar.
Day-4: Munnar to Thekkady (100 km)
• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start for Thekkady. • On arrival, check in to your hotel and take some rest. • Visit the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. • Enjoy boating in Periyar Lake. Online booking for the boat ride is recommended to avoid long queues. • Optional Jeep Safari is available for adventure lovers. • Visit a Spice Plantation and take a guided walk through cardamom, pepper, cinnamon and other spices. • In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance performance, one of Kerala’s major classical dance forms. • Witness Kalaripattu, the ancient and scientific martial art form of Kerala. • Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-5: Full Day Gavi Safari
• Early morning, proceed for Gavi Eco Tourism by gypsy (inside Periyar Tiger Reserve). • Enjoy forest jeep safari through dense forest. • Nature walk / short trekking with trained guide. • Boating in Gavi Lake. • Try to spot elephants, gaurs, birds & other wildlife. • Visit a cardamom plantation. • Lunch provided during Gavi trip. • Return to Thekkady by evening for overnight stay.
Day-6: Thekkady to Kumarakom (120 km)
• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start for Kumarakom. • On arrival at Kumarakom, check in to your hotel and take some rest. • Later, proceed for a 2-3 hour Shikara boat ride on the backwaters of Vembanad Lake (at your own cost). • Enjoy peaceful views of canals, lush greenery, coconut palms and village life. • Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-7: Kumarakom to Munroe Island (100 km)
• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start for Munroe Island. • Munroe Island is located at the confluence of Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River. • On arrival, check in to your hotel or homestay. • Later, enjoy a canoe boating tour through the narrow canals and backwaters. • Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-8: Munroe Island to Trivandrum Drop via Jatayu (130 km)
• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start for Trivandrum. • En-route visit the Jatayu Park, world’s largest bird sculpture (entry and ropeway charges to be paid on the spot). • Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. • The temple is one of the richest and most sacred temples in the world. • Cab will drop you at Trivandrum Airport / Trivandrum Railway Station. • Trip ends with wonderful memories.

- 10% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip more than 30 days before trip start day.
- 25% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 22-29 days before trip start day.
- 50% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 15-21 days before trip start day.
- 75% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 8-14 days before trip start day.
- No refund in case you cancel the trip 0-7 days before trip start day.
- No refund for unused or partial used services.
- Full refund if we cancel the trip. Please note that no additional compensation or payment will be provided.
